Value Management (VM) is a systematic method of improving the 'value' of the end product and services by implementing an examination of function.
With value being a ratio between function and cost, it can therefore be increased by either augmenting the function or reducing the cost. Ultimately, the goal of the VM exercise is to preserve the basic operation of the development, while minimising capital expenditure.
Altus Page Kirkland will take the lead in co-ordinating the Value Management services in conjunction with the appointed design team and other stakeholders. Our services and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Reviewing and Establishing General Requirements
- Conducting Value Management Workshops
- Managing Value Engineering Reporting
