Addressing Our Clients' Needs
Parramatta City Council and LIDIS have partnered on the proposed $250 million riverside apartment and entertainment complex, which will be constructed on a former car park site in Parramatta. The Development, which will be known as Riverside Tower and the Discovery Centre, is located next to the Lennox Bridge crossing Parramatta River. The project will comprise over 4,400 square metres of riverfront and a 41 storey apartment and retail tower, along with a conference centre, Council-run visitor and exhibition facility and foreshore area. With a capacity for 1000 people, once constructed, the conference venue will become Parramatta’s largest function space.
Pending development approval at the joint regional planning level, construction of Riverside Tower will begin in the latter half of 2014. The Tower is part of Council’s vision to revamp the CBD. It is anticipated that approximately 700 jobs will be created in the construction phase of the Riverside Tower & Discovery Centre project. Altus Page Kirkland has been engaged by LIDIS to provide full Cost Planning and Cost Management services.
